Payments

Payments are at the core of Invoiced. You can process payments within Invoiced as well as keep track of payments that happen outside of Invoiced, like receiving a check.

Typically your customers directly pay invoices through the customer portal when they click a "Pay Now" button on an invoice. If a customer pays online we will automatically record the payment. We currently support ACH, direct debits, credit/debit cards, and PayPal as online payment methods.

Cash receipts on the other hand represent transactions that happen outside of Invoiced, like a wire transfer for example. You can track cash receipts on Invoiced regardless of the payment instrument used.

Another way that customers can pay is with their credit balance, which keeps track of credits the customer might have earned or collected over time.

Invoiced also allows you to track cash receipts from customers, such as ACH credits, checks, and wire transfers. Our cash application tool will help you apply the payment to outstanding invoices for the customer.

Available payment methods:

  • ACH Payments
  • Direct Debit Payments
  • Credit Card Payments
  • PayPal Payments
  • Cash Application
  • Credit Balances
